Sciencenter

The Sciencenter is a place that makes learning fun for kids! The Sciencenter allows kids to be creative, curious, and begin to develop critical thinking skills. There are over 250 exhibits to see! There are educational programs to enjoy, a gift shop, and a seasonal outdoor science playground and mini-golf course. Families can learn about scientific principles together!

The Sciencenter is a great place to have a birthday party! During your birthday party at the Sciencenter there are plenty of hands-on activities for kids to enjoy. Birthday parties include an hour and a half of a private and decorated room, a museum admission for the day for birthday invitees and adult chaperones, a 20 minute science activity presented by a Sciencenter staff host, a party favor bag for each child, a t-shirt and crown for the birthday child, and more! There can be up to 30 people, including adults, at the party.

The Sciencenter has a professional miniature golf course that has 18 holes with different science obstacles. The golf course is wheelchair accessible with ADA approved clubs as well as 9 recycled material benches throughout.

There are many different categories to choose from when it comes to exhibits. Astronomy, early education, pet vet, live animals, ocean, outdoor, weather, and more!

The Sciencenter Store is the perfect place to pick up a souvenir to remember your visit. There are lots of books, toys, puzzles, and more! No admission is necessary to shop at the Sciencenter.

The Sciencenter does not offer food but there are vending machines with snacks and drinks. You are welcome to bring your own food into the Sciencenter and eat in the Community Room.

The Sciencenter is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm. Open holiday Mondays and Mondays in July and August from 10 am to 5 pm.
